Providence Journal: Where Are They Now?: Lou Schwechheimer sees a base path to Cuba

Former PawSox general manager now heads two southern minor-league clubs and hopes to use baseball for diplomacy. Richard Nixon used “Ping-Pong Diplomacy” to help thaw relations with China almost half a century ago, and now Lou Schwechheimer is taking a similar approach with baseball and some of the United States’ nearest neighbors, including Cuba.
